Shopping for clothes online.

For the people who do a lot of shopping online, where do you buy your clothes? I get the majority of my stuff from Ebay or bluefly or CCS.

I don't buy online, but my wife does. She make the majority of her purchases through Ebay, and all but a couple of things have come looking good.

i don't buy clothes online. i want to touch the fabric and make sure it feels good and check the stitching. Having worked in the garment industry for many years, I know what is good quality workmanship vs. just slapping a label on it.

shoes, because i know the manufacturer and have tried them on elsewhere.

just never sure about sizes and quality of the garment so don't really shop online but i will check out the catlogues and then go to the store. more of an impulse buyer rather than " i need a pair of jeans" person.

I've only bought t-shirts online. I've gotten a few from thinkgeek.com - they are easy to buy because they all fit the same way

I buy shirts based on how they feel, rather then what they have on it. I've got an exquisite spongebob squarepants t-shirt that feels really good, that's how far I go with the "feeling good" deal. I couldn't imagine buying them online.

KILLER APP. ALERT!! - Specify your inseam online - in 1/4" increments, down to 20", up to 36"

Honestly, killer app. for buying pants online. Read on...

I have, for many years, bought chinos/khakis online. I did this at either Eddie Bauer or L.L. Bean because I get a 35 waist and the stores only have 34 or 36. So, I have short inseam. I would have to get the pants, then measure, mark, find a seamstress, get them hemmed, pay for them, pick them up, - very time consuming. I'm not whining - I'm just a very busy person with a lot better things to do then going through all of this just to get a pair of pants.

http://www.eddiebaur.com I can spend 6 minutes, order my pants, they show up and they fit. My 35/26.25's just showed up.

This kind of thing is very helpful to busy people that are hard to fit. 6 minutes, vs. drive to store - they don't have what you want, drive to 3 other stores, then get them hemmed, etc. I love the Internet! Until recently I thought it was just for pron!
