i get very depressed around the holidays... maybe because it's dark at 3:30 around here... maybe because it's not what i remember when i was a kid... maybe because my father is gone and i miss him... maybe because my aunt does all the cooking and it sux... me bad

I don't see Wal-Mart agents dragging people out of their houses at gunpoint and forcing them to buy Christmas decorations in October.

I personally know a few retail store owners. They think it's ridiculous to junk up their stores with Christmas crap immediately after Halloween, too. But they have to do it because that's what their customers demand. If they don't, some other store will, and everyone will shop there instead.

Blame the people who have nothing better to do than worry about Christmas 3 months in advance, they're the problem.

People have nothing else to do in their lives, apparently.

Nobody has hobbies anymore.

Work. Maintain self. Maintain car, living space.

People are bored. Companies are smart.

No, companies are manipulative.

plenty of people have hobbies.... look at all the different SIGs, magazines, and Conventions...
