TFP while you work?
 

It is really slow atwork right now, AND my boss is 200 miles away, SO I'm making good use of his computer. Every once in awhile I'll jump on the ol' TFP to see what's happening, with no fear of being busted by my boss. How many of you sneak a peek during work hours?

All the time here. I just avoid certain boards :)

Pretty much exclusively. I'd say 80 to 90% of my time here is while I'm "working".

I'm here all the time. I'm hoping to get fired.

Unfortunently for me, as strange as this may sound, my boss claims that it is impossible for me to be fired from my job. He knows that if I quit or he fires me, he'll be working 80 hour weeks instead of 20 hour weeks! I'm moving along here pretty soon, so it's going to be hard to break it to him!
Anyway he's gone for the next few days so I'll be here a bunch!

Since I don't have a computer at home I do all my TFP time from work.

I TF at work, but I tend to be mroe careful.. Not only do I have to avoid the obvious places like the Titty board etc.. I have to watch because alot of people's avatars are pretty NSFW

I'm on all the time from work. I'm the LAN Administrator, so, I'm NOT gonna fire myself for being here! It's good to be king! :D

heh. i learned that tfping from work isn't the best plan, so when i did have gigs that had down-time and computers, i tended to keep to safer sites like mefi. because i have a computer and a high-speed connection at home, i really don't feel an itching burning desire to surf incessantly from work.

100% at work, but i'm not at risk of been fired as i'm my own boss ;)

I TFP from work and I don't worry about NSFW.. I have a secluded office and I control the content filters :D

I work from home so I'm here on and off ALL day long until around midnight when work ends.

I'd say 95% of the time I come to TFP I am at work. It makes the time go by soooo much faster.

hmmm nope. cause my boss is a nut. yea i work in the IS department...but hes a security freak. he would go nuts at this place. luckly other forums i go to hide anything remotely bad until you are loged in or paid for it....

i normaly come on and take a look during collage , the long cold days sat at the computer doing pointless works *sigh*

Nope. My boss gets an e-mail every Monday saying what sites I've visited and the bytes transferred from each. All internet usage at my work is supposed to be business-related, and using it for anything else is a quick way to the unemployment line.

I dont get on here from work because i'm not sure what they consider to be unacceptable. I end up mainly browsing sites like Slashdot and the like, where I know everything will at least be safe for work.

You're one of many people that force me to turn off avatars at work :D

I hop in #tfp while at work, but i don't hit the forums at work because I unfortunately have to share an office with others.

i wish i had a job where something like this is possible... i spent all of the summer ontop of a truck and now am just generaly in the warehouse... but hey... they cant make me like it

All day. I avoid the Titty Board, and have photos and avatars disabled.

Even when my boss is here, I can see him coming from a ways away, so I have time to shut it down and get back to my work screen. My boss doesn'tknow jack about computers anyway,I had to actually help him set up an e-mail account!

Yeah...that is something to thinkabout. However, I had to use my bosses computer the other day and saw the list of sites he's been to....first on the list, WIFEYS WORLD!!! ha, busted. So if he gets that sort of e-mail...he won't be able to say anything...the sites I go to, aren't porno paysites!

Yeah, I'm here most of the day, flipping back and forth while I'm doing work. I stay off of Exhibition and anything sketchy, and I have avatars and images turned off. I do check in at night, but since I'm on the computer all day, I try to get away from it when I'm home.

Heh, It's part of my job to find "risque" sites that our users shouldn't be viewing. What better cover for viewing those very sites myself? :thumbsup:

Of course proxomitron goes a long way in helping mask my indiscretions. :lol:

I am pretty sure I wouldn't be able to get in. They have a very mean filter. Besides I have way too much work to do to be doing any surfing.

I TFP at work occasionally, mostly just to check comment on the thread I subscribe to. I occasionally hit the Tittie board but mostly I try to avoid it while in the office...it tend to waste TONS on time.

I do the TFP all the time at work. I hit it several times throughout the day. I have dial up at home and broadband at work, so that's where I do most of my Titty Board perusing.

I couldn't tell you what anyone's avatars are, because I turn them off and don't view certain threads/boards, but read the others during breaks. Sometimes I peek, though, living life on the edge!

Im the network admin. I browse whatever, whenever i want :) Im the only one in the facility that doesnt have filters . hehe

Im here all the time. Boss dosent like it, but I still manage to post a bit. I try to avoid certain boards, but im not always sucessful.

I take a big enough chance leaving the avatars visible and occasionally checking an Exhibition thread.

I look at work but only certain forum...and this posting just reminded me that I really should turn off avatars while I am at work... Thanks for the reminder!

I cannot as I am not allowed near computers, pets, or children at work.

Working shoft work,when I'm on night shift I have eight floors of computers all to my-self so whos gonna stop me.

Hey, 18 year olds aren't children and many of them are pretty naive... (no offense intended to the 18 year olds out there)

I used to cruise by these parts at work, since I'm in the studio for hours on end just clicking a button about every 15-20 minutes, but my boss has PC Anywhere, and he confronted me about a custom car board I go to, since one of the avatars contained a small, fuzzy shot of a woman from behind in a t-shirt and really short shorts. After that, I've only stuck to boards that are totally innocent in content, and only then with the avatars turned off...so no, I don't TFP while I work, since the threads often contain profanity or other things that might bother the two gospel stations in the building. :)

Aaargh, onetime2 keeps spoiling my games. Now I am not allowed within 20 feet of 18+ year olds without a documentable IQ test. I guess there are always soccer moms...

I'd avoid them to. They can get a little psycho, remember American Beauty?

Generally fool around, mainly reading, sometimes posting while at the office...that is unless theres a good movie on T.V.! Both of those activities are dependent on when I take a nap.

Never from work. Our server is tough - it records all the sites we visit and my boss is a computer geek, who likes to use all the new spyware out there. But I do play elsewhere...

Sometimes. I obviously avoid certain sites, but theres... racy stuff all over this board. So I just have to be careful.

I stay far away from anything questionable at work. The money is too good and just not worth the risk. It may only be a summer job but I want the good references. I know I am monitored but I am not sure to what degree. So it is better to be safe than sorry.

wow.. titty board at work. kudos to you. I only read the general disc. and members playground. boss has very little clue what i'm researching :rolleyes:

Seeing how im the network admin, i am looking at my logs, and the president of the company doesn't care about our web surfing habits. :thumbsup:

Especially with some of the avatars out there :)
