I am sure this has been said before, but seriously, god bless the person who started the low wasited pants trend on women. I love the look. Lets hear some other opinions.

These things are the greatest. Absolutely sexy. I'm a bit of an ass man, so I appreciate anything to enhance the bottom.

And the drawers peeking out is nice too...

I don't like the "super lows" on me ...I feel like a plumber when I wear them.....I like the low cut ones and hiphuggers though ...that's what I wear all the time

The unfortunate aspect of low rise pants, combined with high cut shirts (the ones that show the tummy) is there is no restriction on who can buy them.

I've seen far too many girls squeeze their love handles out to the sides curtesey of a pair of low rise pants. The pants push the fat up, and the shirt helps push it back down.

Then again, I live in the most obese state in the union, so I shouldn't be suprised.

We really should make a low rise pants license. Because I have seen what you are talking about and its just not a pretty sight.

I wear both "regualr" and low waisted. The low waisted are really comfortable. There are some pretty cute styles out right now.

I just got a pair of these jeans to wear because I just got my belly button pierced and it is so sore that I cannot wear anything else! So I am glad they came out with them.

I read somewhere that wearing pants like this (and very tight as well) is not very healthy however. Something about pinching nerves and stuff. Of course, like anything else, it's gerat so long as it's in moderation.

Hmmm, going no underwear is nice, but you can wear panties if you buy the low rise thongs Nikki ;). They come with all kinds of cute designs on the back and everything. :) Not that I own any....onodrim whistles innocently. ;)

I actually saw a guy wearing these on campus the other day along with a belly shirt(is that what they are called?). Even though he shaved his stomach I'm pretty sure I like them on women best.

They are a beautiful thing. I love seeing them on girls around campus, especially combined with a little too short tshirt. Oh, and I live in one of the thinnest states in the nation so there isn't as much of an issue with obese people trying to pull the look off, although it still does happen.

As long as the person's body wearing them FITS THEM, and isnt a general eye sore to anyone looking in thier direction, its all good.

Being I work at a mall, I'm just a bit sickened by the number of girls out there that have no bloody clue as to how bad they look in the clothes they wear.

Somtimes its sickening to look at ,but when the person can pull it off, them pants are sexy as hell.

Low rise pants are the best thing to happen to fashion since knee high boots in my opinion.

I would have to say that I would prefer the low rise with thong over the ultra low rise with no panties. Theres just something about that little strip of material just climbing over the top of the pants.

I love these new fashions. Unfortunately people have to realize that there are limits on what certain people should wear. I'm not sure what's up with girls squeezing fat out between a short shirt and low pants. I have nothing against big women, but there are ways to dress for every body tyoe, and that is not one of them. There was a girl in my HS group of friends who we joked about having "reverse anorexia" because she seemed to think she was Britney Spears when she was actually about 20 lbs overweight. As one of my (male) friends said, "Sizes aren't enough. They need to put wieght limits on swimwear, like, 'this bikini is rated at 34c and 125 pounds.' "

Low-rise jeans should be worn by people who either work out or look like they do. If you're overweight, it is not the style for you. There are clothes I'd like to wear, but I realize that I can't pull it off until I get back to my proper weight.

Low waisted jeans on chics are one of the most wonderful things in the world. Personally, I prefer it when they can pull off the look without looking like sluts, but since it's just eye candy when I'm walking through the mall, anything goes! Just please, please, please, don't wear them unless you are absolutely free of bodyfat around your waist.

Low waisted pants make all but the really thin look fat. If they look good they look really good but usually they do not. However, most wearers of these pants don't seem to reralize that they look bad.

I bought a pair and looked good in them till I washed them and they shrunk, and now I feel like thunderthighs on display. I don't have much of a belly but ANY belly but a flat one looks bad in these. Bottom line is I don't feel comfortable in them, so I think I'll stick to my baggy favorites.

Yes, on women, simply nice looking. I personally wear my pants pretty low, if I cant find my belt in the morning. I wear my pants four inches wide though. And a good deal long. It makes me feel tall :d. I usually wear a belt and keep them at waist level. But ooooooooo, I hate the School Admins that said no to spagetti straps and low rise jeans

Mate, I can say that Im not that keen on them. I think that they only look good on the right shaped girl. There are far to many girls out there wear these pants that have the wrong shape for them. And these (wrong shape girls) asses look really funny in them. On the right girl, farkn awesome......

I can't buy them because even though I have a flat stomach, I have women's hips and a long waist for someone of my height, so nothing fits. I think it's a very nice look on the right person, sexy and all, but I will not hesitate to say that the thong peeking out is by far the TACKIEST thing on the planet. Honey, it's called underwear for a reason. If you can't find underwear that stays hidden by your clothes, then don't wear any. I could give a rat's behind as to what your panties look like.

Seconded. I know that I dont mind seeing it if the girl pulls it up to show you, that was my first encounter with double strapped thongs, those are by far, the hottest panties a woman can wear if she can get by with a thong. But when the thong is just chillin there, its like, damn girl, pull up your pants. Usually an ugly girl from what Ive seen.

i prefer the low-rise look as they are so comfortable to wear. i've never really thought about how others see me, yeah i suppose they do show lots of bare bum when i sit down but i don't think its a major issue these days with all the badness in the world, i just can't understand all the fuss, people seem so narrow minded these days

I used to wear hip-huggers so low I had to shave before putting them on. And yes, I ironed my hair. Dampen a cloth, comb the hair ON the ironing board, top it with the damp cloth and press away....
Now it's muffin top and a 2 minute blow dry...

i think i have some low waisted pants. i don't think they're as low as some of the styles perhaps, but still.. i like them because they hang underneath my belly. so i can have a muffin top :D

Erm, well when they are so low you have to worry about your shaving techniques... I have a pair like that and needless to say I do not wear them often. I became hooked on the low-rise pants after I had my navel pierced, it is far more comfortable to not have anything rubbing or possibly getting hooked on the jewelry. I honestly don't know that I could stand to wear a regular cut anymore.

Wow this is an oldie. In my mom's group we call jeans that are above the naval "mom jeans" because they hide the muffin top.
