Man Dies After Wife Crushes Testicles

ADDIS ABABA (Reuters) - An enraged Ethiopian mother of five will be tried for the murder of her husband who died after she crushed his testicles in a fight, police told the state-run Ethiopian News Agency.

Police said on Friday the man was so embarrassed after the incident that he declined to seek treatment for the injury, and died days later.

"Following a disagreement over the husband's spending habits, his wife refused to give him his dinner and also decided to sleep alone," police in the western region of Wellega said.

"The husband was so angered by this affront by his wife that he tried to beat her. In the melee that followed, the wife grabbed and twisted his testicles causing serious damage."

Police said the unnamed woman, a resident of Wayu-Tuka district in Wellega, had had several arguments with her husband about the amount of money he spent on booze.

Damn..Isn't that the second time someone has died from having there nuts crushed & twisted...in the past month or two?

Holy crap. That guy musta had an assload of pride in order to not go get help, because that has to be the worst pain ever.

The real question here is who was in more pain for longer. Her, when he beat her; or him when she crushed him? And, who is more in the wrong? Sounds like a no win situation to me!

I've got the same kind of story, not meaning to hijack the thread. My brother-in-law's dad works at a hospital. A guy in the emergency ward had his balls kicked by his young kid, and was probably going to die from it. Now how do you grow up knowing you killed your father, especially in that manner.

Anyways I think he deserved it. It was self defence. He shouldn't have lifted his hand and anyways he might not even have died if he would have gotten it checked on.

will someone find a medical reason for this? dying for getting kicked in the balls? hrmmm... because of the pain? or internal bleeding..?

I wonder what would happen to a woman in the US that did that to her husband... would be kinda interesting to find out what laws there might be about this sort of thing.. studying forensic science I don't know that I would be excited about being the photographer that gets to take pictures of the body... but there are worse ways to die.

Why is it that men are less inclined to seek any medical attention of that nature than women? Thats what baffles me.

I'm willing to bet he didn't want to get treatment because he was embarrassed...some men and their pride... ;)

I also think that he deserved it and that it was self defense as long as they can prove he was beating her.
