My challenge to you!
Ok, random TFPer, this is your challenge.
In the next week, have a conversation with someone in real life about an interesting subject... then find an article on the subject online. Post on the TFP both the article, a review of your discussion, and an offer to discuss the issue further with the TFP. A couple interesting subjects someone might wanna latch onto: (Taken from the Tom Lycus Show) Prenuptual Agreements Accidentally breaking someone else's things (or killing their pets) and hiding it Just an example... let's get it going. |
Good idea :)
What about with an online friend? My friend Ryan is the best person for such discussions..... All my "real life" friends want to talk about are clothes or their boyfriend/girlfriend. Yawn. |
Halx : On ego in the martial arts. We discussed how our own wants and needs affected our training, our perceptions, and other's perceptions of ourselves. You should always be yourself. This is a snip from the middle of the article, and while the author is not a participant in the same martial art, the intent and message are the same.

All my friends are stupid. I used get in really good convos with one of my friend in college. Talked about world events, National stuff, I made it a habit of reading the paper everyday just so I could argue with him. He even told me that he enjoyed our convos as well.

.. if your friends are stupid... and friends normally reflect oneself.......
i'll see what i can come up with. |
im always breaking peoples things, everytime i go to my girlfriends house i break something of hers, and thats every day
|
That would mean I would have to talk to real people.
No thank you. |
