What "haircut" do u prefer
 

My girlfriend is getting her bikini area lasered in a couple of weeks.. and basically I have to decide what haircut I want for the rest of my life... she would just assume get it all taken off but I'm thinking maybe a small triangle or strip...
Input anybody?

Further, so far as I can tell, the only biological reason for pubes is to act as a signal of readiness to mate. If you know her well enough to have input on this question, then that signal has been received as well as it will ever be.

I prefer hairless, but a little strip, if well-maintained, doesn't bother me. I never really liked the triangle look.

Let us know how much it hurts. I just shaved myself yesterday bacuse I decided it was better than geting it caught in my zipper again, and today it looks like shotgun damage. Good thing I rean out of time before I got to the 'sack. Moving to a different area, maybe if I save up I can get my asscrack lasered.

i would suggest she leave a landing strip of sorts so that she has the option to wax the landing strip off when she wants to or grow it back in, leaves some versatility... thats what i would do..

Why is this such an issue? If it feels good, do it. Quit sitting around like a bunch of hens debating how you should style your pubes next. That's kinda gay dude.

If she's gonna be your wife, why not have it lasered in the shape of your initials? mark your territory and what not...

other shapes could be cool too... like a heart or something.

i'm all for the shaved look, but i don't think i'd like my woman to have that for life.

It's an issue because it's permanent.

That said, I personally would rather be conservative than liberal when doing something like this that has a permanent effect. I'd say just get off only what you're sure you'll never want and then leave the rest. she can alawys shave/wax whatever is left into differet "styles" or whatever.

Go for a Brazilian... I like trim but not gone. There's a saying about it "if there is grass on the pitch, play the game" I follow that to the death. A little green, provides a good putt.

However, I don't think that applies here, and is an otherwise strange saying.

There are many good points here. Bald is awesome, but perma-bald is a little scary. I like the idea to remove everything that you know that you would never want for sure, and take care of the rest with waxing.

err, why are you making this decision for your fiance? granted, you should have some input since the two of you are together, but it is her body and her hair... rather than asking tfp'ers what they like, shouldn't you ask her what she wants(and let her do that)?

I agree with SecretMethod, she should just have the areas lasered that she will never want to shave again, then, when it comes to shaping, or whatever, she wont have to bother with them.

OK sorry its taken so long for me to get back.....

It's costing her $1600 for armpits, bikini and forearms; but she got a fat deal. I believe regular prices run $600 for bikini, $600 for the armpits, $1500 for the arms, $1800 for the legs.

It's not particularly painlfull she had a patch test and said it wasnt as bad as waxing.

We decided to go with the triangle, she wanted to just go bald I wanted a landing strip... compromise.. it never was entirely for my choice but considering we're getting married she wanted my input..

we never plan on having kids so not worried about freaking the kids out.. and we'd just tell them we did if it happened... Its expected that young women shave their legs and armpits (not saying this is fair/right) so whats so wrong with cleaning the pubes.. I think untrimmed pubes are disgusting... I want my pubes trimmed, my back/but and thighs done.. she wants me to get my chest done.. but I dont have the cash right now, and I'd much rather see her bald :P

Sounds like a good decision.

It's done now. well first treatment at lest it takes like 5-7 sessions. she just got the first one today and all her hair is cinged and falling out.. unfortunatly theres a 2-3 day period of no friction because of skin irritation.

The whole thing took just under an hour, and for the most part wasnt all that painful, not any worse than waxing.

I don't really care about shape, but I much prefer trimmed to long hair. Not so short that it's prickly, but no wild jungle either. I like there to be enough to play with :)

I like bald as well, but after trying it once myself I can say that I wouldn't wish that itching on anyone, and I would never ask a girl to do that (or wax, or one of the more extreme options) for me.

Speaking of which, on the old board there was a thread about the opposite -- what women prefer men to do with their pubes. Haven't seen it on here yet but I may just be missing it. Has it been resurrected?

My vote goes for the landing strip. I like a bald one as much as the next guy, but getting rid of it all permanently takes away from variety. Wouldn't it be nice to always get a little surprise down there?

My parents cut my hair since it's more economical, so yea, whatever they cut it I just stick with it.
