I am currently working on my private pilots license right now, just wondering if anyone else here is a pilot, or is going to flight school currently.

I am trying to decide which school to go to.

Right now its a tie between Spartan, and FlightSafety(Vero Beach, FL)

Any opinions would be appreciated, as this is kind of like a life altering decision.

Well, my father is a pilot, and just finished up his commercial rating. Has his own plane, and it looks like Ill follow up on it as well, as soon as he gains his cfi (certified fight instructor).

embry-riddle in daytona beach used to have an excellent flight school program; don't know if they're still around, though...

The college I graduated from had a really good flight program. But I'm guessing you just want the flight stuff...

My mother was a recreational pilot for about ten years, its too bad that she sold the Cessna 172 since is was uber fun to be able to visit the relatives in 1/6th the time.

When I am out of University and have a solid pay cheque coming in I will probably build a kit plane.
