I guess I count as undergrad. I did a year and a half before I decided I just wasn't enjoying the study enough and withdrew. Been working since then. No plans to resume my studies at this point, though it may happen one day.

Bachelor's of Science in Business Management with strong minors of Psychology and Economics. I spent a lot of time switching majors so I had all of the major credits for both Psych and Econ. Weird combo, but what's a stupid kid supposed to do?

My friends are fond of Bullshit instead Bachelor of Science because I graduated first of out of our group in three and half years. And I was "the" slacker all through high school. For those with Master or higher degrees. Does it help in your field and among your peers? I've thought about going back to school and completing my masters but it seems I'd be overqualified for the jobs I prefer and unexperienced enough for the jobs that really require a Master degree. |

In college at the moment. I would like to get a Masters, and if I decide to major Economics, a PhD as well.
There had better be a good community college wherever I end up after school, too. There are so many random things I want to learn. I could seriously get 10 different degrees just out of curiosity. So much to learn, so little time...

I am currently a senior in computer engineering at Purdue University. Hope to finish my B.S. in December 2004.
After that, I think I'll try for an M.S. Maybe after I've finished an M.S. thesis, I'll try for a PhD.. maybe. Not sure I want to do computer engineering research for a living...

I dropped out of college (was pursuing a BS in computer science), and it was the best damn decision I ever made.
Anyone who says college is better than the "real world" is full of shit. Outside of college, the work you do actually has significance. It can affect whether a company lives or dies, and whether you can afford to eat and pay your bills. A wee bit more significant than a grade from some TA and a letter on a transcript. Oh, and you don't have to live in a 10x10 concrete box with someone else, either. That's certainly a plus. |
