Which is stronger when put to the test: The soda can or the beer can?
 

I wasn't ever really sure if a <i>soda</i> can could indeed be crushed on a forehead but without a doubt I've seen it done with a beer can. So, my question to you: Which is easier to crush on the forehead? A beer can or a soda can? :crazy:

Never tried either, though I would have to guess the beer can, as the effects of the contents might dull the pain a bit.

Isn't there a trick to it? Like denting the can up and creasing it before it hits your head? Either way, I wouldn't do it. I value my forehead.

I think it's the sudden increase in pressure on the can that does it. A real quick jab to the head is the way to do it. But really it like trying to crush an eg in your fist.

Your head is obviously stronger. The beer can won't kill you.
Although, anyone that actually knows how much it would hurt to smash a can on their forehead has a serious drinking problem.

I haven't done this myself. I was just trying to educate myself on the <i>physics</i> of beer can crushing. :lol: It really does sound stupid looking back on this.

The only types of cans around you when you're drunk should be beer cans, and in your state of drunk super hero skull bashingness there is only one available/accessible answer.

well, having seen a good ole beer head-butting competition in full swing - i´ve got to say that glass is tougher than both of those metals... and it cuts...often.

ages ago, i saw this big bunch of Aussie yobbos indulging in a game that involved sculling your schooner of beer, and then head-butting the schooner glass so that it smashed.

blood...glass...beer...pissed blokes...i mean, whats not to love!!

I do soda cans, I have to pinch the sides a bit to avoid injury, but I can crush one flat without hurting myself.

Guess what? Everyone who smashes beer cans with his head does this little trick.

It's an actually an IQ test for your drinking buddies: if they don't call you on the gimmick, they're too stupid to be anything but drinking buddies.

The hardest part is performing the trick in such a way as not to be noticed by the observer.
