goddaughter - heart surgery
This morning my four-year old god-daughter went into surgery. It's not the kind where they cuty a tiny hole for the robot-laser to snake through unobtrusively. Its the crack-your-chest-open, cut-to-the-center-of-your-heart-kind.
She should have been done by now, but I've heard no news; good or bad. I'm kind of freaking out. Think a happy thought for me. Picture a beautiful, willowy little blonde girl. Picture her happy and healthy. |
Hope everything works out for ya dude. I know it can be tough, just stay strong and pull through it.
|
We're thinking of you and her.
Got my big old ugly ogreish fingers crossed for ya. |
My thoughts are with you.
I wish her well, and the quickest of recoveries. |
All my thoughts are for good news and a quick and speedy recovery.
Have faith and all shall be well. |
Our thoughts are with you and her. Well wishes for a fast recovery.
|
I'm thinking of you and wishing all the best.
|
My prayers are with you all.
|
good luck clavus. As we say over here, no news is good news.
I'm sure it's gonna work out! /me knocks on wood & crosses fingers. |
here's another set of happy thoughts. :)
|
*thinking happy thoughts*
|
Good luck to all involved clavus....it will all work out fine
|
Any news yet?
|
Thanks for your happy thoughts.
She came out of surgery about 5 hours later than she was supposed to. I don't know the details. But apparently everything went well, and she is doing fine...considering she had her heart stopped, cut open, then stitched back together. Its so hard to be my a cynical smartass self when I'm obsessing about my little god-daughter opened up like a frog Bio lab. Thanks all. |

I hope all continues to go well - you and your goddaughter have my best wishes. |
I hope this is the last surgery your little angel has to endure, and that her recovery is a speedy one.

Kids are remarkably flexible about things that would make basket cases out of us adults.
My strongest good thoughts and best wishes go out to your goddaughter. |
I hope and pray for the best. It is so hard to see the little ones hurtting. Redravin40 is correct that "Kids are remarkably flexible about things " I hope this is the case. Let us know tommorrow what her progress is please.
|
