I have my friend's msn loggged onto my computer(he left it on with logging off).
I have MSN plus addon and latest firmware of windows live messenger.

IS there anyway in getting into his hotmail or anything while im at it?. Ty in advance.

Yes. Sign off and exit MSN (IMPORTANT, DO NOT SIGN YOURSELF BACK IN) and then go 'run' and type REGEDIT to get into the registry editor. Then navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft

Now create a new key by selecting Edit from the main menu bar. Select New then Key. Name this new Key: Messenger

Now select the newly created Messenger Key and create another new Key. Only this time name it: Client



It should all look like this.

Next you have to create a DWORD value. So Right Click the new Client Key and select New then DWORD. Name the DWORD PreventRun.


Edit it, and give it a value of 1.


This prevents MSN from clearing the cookie properly. Now, log back into MSN messenger with your information, then log into hotmail while you are logged in, and it should log you into his hotmail. To get back into your own hotmail, just change the value back to 0.

didn't work. and No, I have no intentions of evil plots and destroying the face of the world. For this matter, it's personal mails.

Like, I have the msn's saved password and hotmail, he clicked on the saved password for next time. so I have access to it whenever. But I can't get into the hotmail. there is a built in function in MSN plus where if I were to type /inbox, it would go directly to his hotmail but the password won't be there.

How can I incorporate MSN that'll lead me into his hotmail?

THe method above that i've tried, I logged off of the msn, went into Registry, changed value to 1, and then promptly went onto mine. Logged on hotmail and it was still nothing.

i tried exactly what telekinetic said to do to my friends account and it worked!
