CNN Fires Sanchez
 

CNN fired Rick Sanchez today for remarks he made during a radio interview. Apparently he made some comments his employers didn't like.

Anyone watch this guy? Last I saw he was about half of CNN's mid-day early evening line up. I watched him a couple times, seemed pretty basic non-news infotainment to me. His comments in the story make it sound like he's not real fond of Jews or Jon Stewart. Do you think he deserved to be fired for them? Not sure myself.

Yeah CNN didn't want the backlash from the Jew comments on their doorstep. You need to keep your prejudices to yourself if you're in the public spotlight and representing an actual "fair and balanced" news outlet.

I wouldn't be surprised if FOX hires him though.

I bet no one actually watched him but after the comment, it had a twitter effect and landed him in trouble.

But really I don't care.

No way Fox hires him. The few times I saw him he was openly mocking Fox.

It amazes me when people like Sanchez who are in the business make comments like this. He can't be surprised at the outcome. Truly stupid on his part.

Figures it's because of a racist comment rather than the fact that his show was terrible.

Maybe they were waiting for this moment, realizing that if they pulled the plug on him due to the show's quality that he'd come back with charges of racism.

Didn't they just expand his air time?

What was odd was that he was calling Stewart a bigot.

Anyway Jon Stewart had some fun with it saying:
"All he has to do is apologize to us, and we'll hire him back."

Maybe he can make a documentary to show how the Jews are controlling the media. That would be real investigative reporting, and if it is biasing the news we receive, it would be an important story.
