I got a big book called "New York". Looks interesting. Also socks. I got socks for Christmas. Not quite oral sex, but, you know, up there.

Magpie wanted me to share that she got Wii Fit Plus. We both tried it out, and measured the cats too; I gather being able to weigh your pets is a new feature.

I was pleasantly surprised by it; it's actually a decent work out.

For the first time in years, almost my entire family made it to Christmas as my aunts and I am in MN where we had a three day snow storm! That was the best gift ever.

For the first time ever since childhood anyway I got something useful a sky+ TV box, now I can record two progs at once whilst wasting my life on this puter thingy:)

A new springform pan from my Son with a note inside saying, "Please make me a blueberry cheesecake!" The demise of my other springform is quite a long story.

My Husband gave me the most beautiful pair of diamond hoop inside out earrings totaling 1.87 carats. I'm a little afraid to wear them out in public. Tried them out at the grocery store, cause that's where you wear that sort of stuff, right? A woman, kept staring at them and edging closer to me with her back to the deli counter and I was facing it, it was rather weird. In all my paranoia I had visions of her ripping the earrings out of my ears and making a run for it. These are not for everyday wear, unless I'm feeling fiesty.

I got a lot actually. A telescope,The Sims 3, books, The L Word Season 3, Private Practice Season 1, Angel Season 4, Greys Anatomy Season 5.... And much more.

I got a nifty flip-open pocketwatch on a chain from my mom.
My brother bought me a wallet, but lost it somewhere in all of the confusion. (or so he says)
And my sister made Christmas dinner.

I got a brand new desk for my computers (the old was falling apart, plan can attest to this), clothes (which I needed), a toaster oven, a 1TB hard drive, and trip to the casino.

I got a new mp3 player for my music, then promptly exploded the hard drive containing all my music.

I also got port, but most of that is gone because of the above.

A hangover or 12..

Various other things.. nothing important.. my kids had a good time so that's all I really cared to see and wanted.

The best thing I got was something my daughter made for me. She framed a scrapbook page filled with pictures of her, her brother, and me. oh, and our cat is on there too. I love gifts that come from the heart. :D

I also got Starbucks, Blockbuster, Panera Bread, and Barnes & Noble gift cards.

My sister & I had intense verbal confrontings, long past due.

She threw crockery.

It scared me because she's never done that before.

I saw her frantic hurting, the projecting of her own fears and judgment upon
mother and me.

She left mom's house for a while,
riled and storm whipped.

We talked on the phone after she returned home.

Sister & I both cried/apologized.

We siblings wrangled to a loving, forgiving, understanding embrace.

Just imagine how happy our Mom feels about this.

I can't think of a better gift, for all involved.

My GF got me a PS3 (apparently all my subtle hints of "if we're going to get a blu-ray player, why not get one that plays games too" worked :p )
