Christmas Wishlist.

What does everyone want for christmas this year?

I'd like the Sims 3, About 40 different seasons of TV shows I'm addicted to, a new laptop, a new cell phone, money, gift certificates, Ipod, PS3, clothes, about a million books...

How about you?

My honey's home for Christmas this year (I have to work), so I just want to come home to him. Looks like I'll get to do that so I know I'm getting what I want already. I don't want anything that costs money...I want to get out of debt.

Salem...that's a long list. You'll need a bigger place if you get all those books! We never seem to have enough bookshelves.

noodle...you're so beautiful, I can't imagine why you don't have men at your door all the time.

A job that I won't hate and that has a future.
An attractive intelligent naked woman in my apartment that wants to do bad things to me.

As far as material things go the only need I have is a new computer to replace the one I have now which is dying. Obviously way too expensive to ask for.

Wants would be a cool new touchscreen cell phone, maybe a nice watch.

I'll probably ask for some new clothes, probably some dress shirts and ties. And socks.

We spend most of our cash on the kids rather than each other, so it's a pretty modest list. I asked for season 2 of Life on Mars (UK version), a book and some coffee cream chocolates.

I second the naked man in my living room wish, one who's crazy about me and that I'm crazy about.
A new job (with a future) that doesn't stop me from having time for my art work.
A lovely boyfriend for my mom.
That my apartment appears one morning magically meticulously tidied and spotless.
Enough money and free time to travel more.

I've been a really good girl this year Santa. Pretty please?

I'm working that day.
I'd like it to be quiet, with no carols, no deaths, and some good movies.
I'd like my landlords to install heat. It would be a great early present.
And the whole hot, nekkid guy in my living room, too.

I have a real problem with materialistic Christmas. I hate people buying me stuff "because TV said so". If I want something I will get it myself.

And no, just because "TV said so" don't expect something from me, for any holiday. I love my family because we all finally sat down this year and decided that no one is buying anything for anyone other than stocking stuffers. Good stuff like socks, a magazine, a DVD, and other various toiletries! Now thats my kinda gifts.

For america to stop freaking out about what to buy their damned kids for 1/4 of the year.

I don't do Christmas. If some one feels they want to buy me stuff thats OK. But i do nothing for it and expect nothing. I just hate the mutual guilt.

I just want my daughter to have a good Christmas. I've gotten to where I don't care if I get anything, gift wise, but I like to see the kid happy.

Well, maybe I do want something. I want to get through the holidays without being pissed off, or aggravated at my family. Maybe this year I'll just wear my mp3 player full time.

This. Fuck these warped-values'd commercially-perverted holidays. I can equate my emotional dedication with material goods.

I don't buy it. Maybe that's why I'm single.

I'm notoriously hard to buy for since I usually go out and get what I need/want regardless of season. It irritates my Christmas-obsessed mother-in-law, but it's one of her few complaints about me.

What do I want? I want to be downstairs with the video camera when the boys come down to see all the toys around the tree. I want them to love to watch the train go around the based but know enough not to touch it. I want the fire going in the fireplace. I want my wife to be surprised with whatever I manage to find for her this year. And I want to sit comfortably on the couch with a cup of coffee while little boys play happily with new toys on the rug.

I want Christmas lunch/dinner at my in-laws to be fairly stress-free (which is difficult with 14 people - 6 of them kids - in a 1600 sqft house). I want my mother-in-law's strada for breakfast.

And I want my brother to have the best Christmas possible - which is a high hurdle indeed.

I don't need stuff. I want experiences. That's the best part of Christmas for me.

Well in a fantasy world a check would show up in the mail that would pay off all my debt so I can finally get somewhere in life!

In a slightly less fantasy world, I would love to get a GPS unit for my car, a nice new computer monitor so I can retire the ugly old CRT, or a laptop.

In reality, I'd be happy with some good books to read at work, and some nice new work clothes as well.
