How old were you when you *officially* lost your virginity? Details as to the event are appreciated as well.

I was 16 years old in 1978, and dating a girl a year older than myself. On one particular summer evening we found ourselves in a secluded park and started fooling around. Before long, we were both stripped to our essentials and doing the nasty on a picnic table.
