What is your favorite ringtone? I have a new cell phone and was messing with a number of ones I had found, so far I am using the whistling from Kill bill nurse scene.

Pac-Man theme song. I love it. It annoys everyone else, but I absolutely love it!

(edit: It really does! Ever since reading this comic, my default tone has always been a ring--the mechanical-er, the better!)

I've been too lazy to make new ringtones so I've been using this one for a while. Stupid lyrics - decent band but 1:35 on is one hell of a breakdown.

I used the first 30 seconds of "Centralized" by Negative Format as my ring tone. It's an electro song and the first 30 seconds actually sounds like a good ring.

I pulled down an mp3 of the default ringtone for the Palm Pre, and in a fit of irony, I installed it on my iPhone...

On my old cell phone I used the first level of Sonic the Hedgehog 2

With my newer phone, I just left everything how it was because the ringer isn't loud enough with MIDIs for some reason.

By the way, this site is awesome for cell phone ring tones - if you like videogames. Most cell phones will play MIDI files too.

Dunno about my favorite per say, but I get a lot of comments on the ringtone I have for my Mother when she calls. It's basically a dog and cat fighting, which is very similar to our actual phone conversations irl.

The ringtone I use for my best bud is "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" and mine for his is the Jackass theme song, for some reason. ;)

I picked his because it is extremely loud and I can hear it in the shop, or over traffic.

I have the chorus to "Holding Out for a Hero" by Bonnie Tyler. When people call me, they hear "Build Me Up Buttercup."

A rooster. My choices are limited. I don't know what people hear when they call me, I never call myself and there are no setting for that.

I have Skynet on my phone, but don't have it assigned to anyone. I have Sunpoision and Skin Cancer as a custom ringer for one friend.

The MGS Codec tone. Texts are the "!" sound.

My phone came with a variety of interesting default tones, and I've assigned a variety of them to specific people. It's just too spendy to buy ringtones from my provider. Man, I hate Sprint.

I modified the Doctor Who theme to get the whole thing into 30 seconds. It's a nice way to find all the nerds in the room when it rings since I don't live in the UK. Sounds pretty close to this:

My last 3 phones have permanently been set to silent, vibrate only.

When I am prepared to take calls I have it in my pocket.

Currently I've got an E71, and use it for mail, calls and appointments, so at work can't be bothered with it constantly beeping.

And here I thought I'd be flogged for my musical taste, if you had an iphone I could send 'em to ya.

I got the one from the movie crank, which sounds like a regular phone, but then slows down. zedge.com has it if you search for it.

I have a ton of full songs on my phone.. I'll create ringtones off of these and assign them to different people..everything from Daft Punk and Dieselboy to RATM and GnR.

I did have the emphatic bit from the song from "Requiem for a Dream" on a previus phone, and the Godfather tune on my first phone which I had when I was 20.

Soooo...just for the record... I posted this on June 17th, and it was the first time LordEden & I "noticed" each other. Exactly one year later, he'll be landing in Ohio, and I'll be flying back with him on the 20th. To stay. :love: Thought I'd give the thread that started it all a bump :)
