Inaguration Ceremony
And I didn't even have a ticket. It was fucking insane, from the moment I left the hotel until I got back. I didn't stick around for the parade, my back was killing me. I'm uploading pics now, when they post, mods can move this thread to 'Photos'

Thanks for sharing those photos with us, Quasi. It's interesting to see the perspective of someone in the crowd I've been seeing on television all day.

Back problems, eh, Quasi? Or is it really....Cheney?!? (hope you're feeling better)
Thanks for the pics. It was an awe inspiring ceremony, but the tv footage didn't quite catch the intimacy like these photos do.

Oral is sodomy too, good sir. It's true, we're all sodomites!

Great pics and I'm sure it was a great experience.

I was in the second to last element of the parade. It was pretty cool.

I was in D.C., but was the only ticketless member of my group. Rather than brave the crowds by my lonesome, I ended up watching the ceremony from a restaurant in DuPont. It was still amazing to be in the city, and I had a great time drinking Baileys and coffee, watching CNN.

That looks like quite a crowd. I watched as much of the inaugaration day events on TV as the election coverage - saw him get out of the car, wave to the crowd and was good for the day. I also realised that I have yet to watch a swearing-in ceremony live in my lifetime, just seen on the documentaries or history channel kind of things.
That city parking on a good day must be worse than New York. edit: grammar
