I've found that doctor's offices are some of the worst when coming to upgrading to new technology. I have to fax doctor's offices copies of invoives all the time. Pain in the ass.
One of our clients is a world-wide fiber optic cable maker and they STILL need faxes to verify invoices. Blows my mind. |

While several of our suppliers have upgraded to electronic transfer, most have us simply fax in our orders. I have to generate hard copies for receiving, so the added step of faxing isn't overly burdensome... except on Mondays when the order volume is greatest.
We've got one supplier who must have a real crappy machine. Most weeks I get a call to clarify the order... they confuse "0" "6" "8" and "9" a lot! It would be easier to phone the order in.
