What fingerprint pattern(s) do you have?

At some point I discovered I have the same general fingerprint pattern (arches) on all my fingers and toes. Do people usually have the same pattern on all their digits, or is it more common to have more than one pattern?

My index fingers are both arches, my other 8 are loops. Weird.

Edit: Actually, only one of my index fingers is a pure arch...upon closer inspection, there is a single 'thread' that loops on the other one. Does that make that print a hybrid, or is it all or nothing? I'm not up on my fingerprintology.

		 Okay, apparently I lied.

My right ring finger is a left loop. I had never noticed that before. Or maybe it's a tented arch. Now I can't tell! ![]() I feel like I've been living a lie... Also, merleniau was kind enough to show that there are way more options than just the three I found on Wikipedia: Fingerprint Patterns (Based on the Henry Classification System) Maybe at some point I'll go fix that poll. ![]()

My thumb patterns are NOT on your list (though I already told you this through AIM). They have a sort of S-shape, the twinned loop on this page: fingerprint_patterns

I want to take my fingerprints when we get home and determine EXACTLY what patterns they are. My left hand appears to be all whorls and my right a combo of whorls and loops, but I'm not sure!
