We have made some noise about Mibbit recently.

It is a great web based IRC client for those stuck behind firewalls, and we have arranged an official listing in their client and a trust relation with their server such that clients information may be injected into our network on their behalf. Essentially this means you appear as any other client with your IP address, and you can be banned without effecting anyone else! Excellent stuff indeed :)

It is our hope that people can now disband all their horrendous CGI-IRC implementations (which often cause us a great deal of problems) and use this instead.
