Reason is overvalued
I can definitely demonstrate that logic will not take you anywhere. Do you need proof? He who has ears to hear, let him hear; logic slaves.

I recognize all the words that you are typing, and know that it is possible for them to be arranged in an order that communicates an idea or starts a discussion. However, in the order you placed them, I haven't the foggiest idea what you are talking about.

He demonstrated for you his ultimate premise and contention: that in order for any proper response to be made herein, that a reasonable point must be made to be understood or all else is lost in voids of consternation and ponderances. No less than three minutes pass, and he proved his point flawlessly.
It is really quite an extraordinary conveyance and notion, that is both sound yet exceptional in most, if not all, instances. A dillusionary dichotomy of diatribe in its truest essence. :surprised: Gets you to think a little more than is necessary or is ever required, for the purpose is none at all. Once again, Ustwo sums up the thread with the perfect image.

Axiom I: Logic only makes sense by itself so it is not meaningful.
Axiom II: Besides the appearances, Axiom I is illogical. Axiom III: Join me or die of nonsense. Axiom VII: I can clarify it to you but it is impossible to explain it to them, and you are them. Twisted mosaic, There will be some day when even you will understand. Jetée, You are terrible wrong. One can be very logical but make no sense, go nowhere; one can appear absurd but be quite meaningful. From the both of us I don’t need to explain who is who. Dare to show me your logic and I will demonstrate how it dissolves into nothing, dear slaves. Ustwo, Have you already learned to talk? Martian, Have you already learned to read? |
So... Axioms I and II form a contradiction, Axiom III isn't a form of a logical argument (Declarative statements never are) and Axiom VII is true.
What's your point? Logic is simply a way of evaluating arguments as either "Good" or "Bad" (Put in simple terms). Not "Good" or "Bad" as in "Makes sense", but "Good" or "Bad" as in consistent. Nothing more, nothing less. If you want to discuss the nature of the world, then I'd suggest philosophy. Of course, I guess that's your point, huh? If that's the case, then this thread makes sense only if it doesn't make sense whereas making sense is contingent on whether or not there's sense to be made. |

Before posting threads please read the Creating Threads: A Primer (MUST READ!) (Updated 3-23-2007) Since you've proven that via logic that there is a chance greater than zero that you cannot read script I have added the text for your reading and searching pleasure. Quote:
