(sits in thread and waits for good answers from others)

I need one. My Chase Platinum is a piece of poo.

Who cares about how big my limit is? I want rewards.

Like the mac vs. pc thread. It really depends on what you want and what you value. We find free air travel valuable, and the best value for our dollar spent and mileage accumulated.

I suggest reading this thread, since this topic was discussed earlier this year.

I have an emigrant direct savings account and credit card. The savings account has around a 5% interest rate and the credit card gives 1.4% cash back if you have over $10,000 in the savings account. Definitely a good deal.

I'd advise against Amex....haven't been very pleased with them lately....I've got a Delta Skymiles card, and have realized there were better options out there.
