It's not the hair color for other roles. Just a blonde Bond felt weird to me; sacrilegious to the Holy Church of Bond-ness, if you will. Oh, and Emilio was also great in Rated X, where he played a balding man. I am pretty shallow, but not enough to judge all actors based on their hair color, style, etc. Just this once I was.

For me it is Sean Connery, I still have a crush on him and he could be my grandfather. Second I think would be Daniel Craig, I was really impressed with his Bond.

Sean Connery for sure

As a note: I still have 15 more Bond films to complete before I put my two cents in. :oogle:
But as an aside, is "Never Say Never Again" really that bad? I have as of yet to watch it, but I just keep hearing things, bad things, about it. |

It is on my top 10 worst movies list for sure. It doesn't have the classic James Bond opening: looking through the barrel of the gun. It completely negates several of the previous Bond movies as it is a "remake" of Thunderball. In fact, it wasn't even an official Bond. It was released by a different studio at the same time as Octopussy with Roger Moore. The script is horrible. It looks as if it was directed by a fourth grader. Bond actually winks at the camera at one part, and he settles down with a Bond girl at the end. DISGRACEFUL. This movie should be swept under a rug. The rug should be burned, and whoever swept it should be shot in the head. |

Favourite = Roger Moore. Mostly because I don't have a good recollection of the Connery movies and haven't seen the Craig one yet... |
Pierce Brosnan is my choice, probably due in no small part to Goldeneye's legacy. I don't think any of them have been terrible, nor one portrayal that much better than another. All just differing perspectives.
