i just saw this on the local news. a black guy was looking like he was crossing a street and a white guy walks up behind him to walk across too. then the black dude, turns around and just knocks the white guy out.

the video came from a friend that was told to film it, they said that someone chased after them (yea, bitch asses ran) and the guy said that he is going to press charges.

am i wrong or are some people just assholes?

in MS (or at least where I live) there is a lot of reverse racism... a lot of folks who don't live here will argue all day that it doesn't exist. all i can say is it happens.

Back when I was in college, I lived in a house where I was the only white guy. Some of my housemates told me why they weren't interested in joining a certain black frat. The pledges had to do stupid, racist stuff like - walk up to random white guys and slap them.

This isn't to say that all black frats are like this.

But racism is alive and well. It cuts both ways.

Every day I see the most rude and insesitive people that exist. I try my best to instill in these children that being rude to other people is not a way to live life. I try the "it's easier to catch a fly with honey" speech. It doesn't work. Moments later you can find one of these children hitting another for no reason, or cussing at them.

I blame society for this lack of ethics and morals. People have become selfish. They act without thinking of how their actions affect the rest of the world. We've become desensitized as a society to most violence. It takes an extreme violent act to grab our attention these days.

I'm only one person, and I know I can't change the world. But I try to change one person at a time. Who's next? ;)

I also think racism towards whites is worse (when it happens) because a (black guy's) racist depiction of a white guy is a weak, small, neeky geek. So i think racism towards them is more likely to be physical or aggressive.

I see just as much if not more racisim from blacks towards whites than the other way around (granted, I see that too).

the point is, we shouldnt need a big group/company backing us so that we always look to be the "victim"... Racisim should be attempted to stamp out on all sides.. Not just this white over "african-american" racisim.

personally, I feel quite offended when I hear "African-american"... If you are "African-american" then you can call me "Anglo-saxon-american"... but give me a break.. after you have had a family living here for around two centuries, continuously marrying and breeding with others here, you are American.

If you truly consider yourself "African-American" go back to Africa and see how much the African part applies ;p American basically means you are a mutt of some sort (there are very few Native americans still who are more than 50% native american)...

so trying to define oneself as /insert ethnicity/-American is pointless and helps promote racisim.

I saw it on Fox. They caught that kid, his friends as well, and he can get a maximum of 1 year in jail. I don't care if he learns a lesson or not, I want him to pay. I don't know if they were being racists, there is no context to the clip that is played, I'm not even really sure the guy was black, he looked hispanic to me, but either way it doesn't matter since like I said before, I have no context to the situation.

The reason they were doing it was probably just for the hell of it, like when kids go out and club peoples mailboxes, there's no real reason to do it but they think it's fun. If this is true, the guy probably only got punched because he was the first person they came across that they thought would be a good person to victimize. The aggressor was a 17 year old kid, skinny little bastard; and the victim was a bit of a nerd, working to become a comic book artist he said.

I think they got the idea, thought they had invented the wheel, and acted on it. First guy they saw that looked soft got a punch in the face and they ran away. Now, hopefully, they go to jail for a year.

My theory is that everyone is an asshole 75% of the time.

Sounds like a story I have when I was younger. Was about 8yold walking home from school one day when another kid about same age comes up to me. I have no clue who he is. He asks me if I saw his brother, doesn't even give me a chance to answere then hits me in the stomach and takes off running. I doubt it really matters that he was black and I'm white at least I hope but who knows just kinda gets me angery to think about stuff like that and people are that blind sometimes that they would be better off if they were actually blind.

You know, this wasnt really a race thing. This is a matter of two bitches trying to act tough when they have someone outnumbered and can ambush them. If you think about it, this kind of shit happens all the time, but no one is there to video tape it.I see these punk kids all the time, acting like the world is theirs, not giving a shit about authority....you know why? because we, as a society, have desensitized the notion that we can't properly punish kids for their wrongdoing. if they get into trouble, they are sent to juvy for a few months, then come back out and start over again. teachers can't appropriately discipline kids anymore without a parent accusing the teacher of authoratative abuse. these kids know they can get off scott free so why not be a little punk ass bitch? they won't get into real trouble till they are an adult anyways.

If my kids ever want to do something stupid or be an ass fuck I should have the right to punish it out of them.... not talking about beating them but locking them in the closet should do it....
