And when is rape something an average private citizen should try to stop anyway? Rape is one of the most violent aggressive crimes, walking up to someone and saying, "please stop." could get you or her killed real fast.

BS, all he had to do was knock or get the landlord to come with him in case no one answered the door. He was high on drugs or alcohol at the time probably.

Lots of movies contain yelling, bombs, and guns going off loudly. The guy went ape shit loco to not have that cross his mind that it was a movie.
