What to do if I choke on a foreign object in my bag of chips?
 

Hello. OMG...I almost freakin chocked like crazy on this white broken piece of thing in my bag of chips. I'm none to happy. I could have choked to death if it had gotten stuck. And it's a broken thing with a sharp edge. Is there anything that I can do about this? Any advice?

Phone the chip manufacturer, tell them about the problem and provide them with the lot number off the bag is about the best suggestion I can make. Then, be happy you didn't suffer severe consequences, and quit eating junk food. :D

...and they'll send you coupons for free chips:D
It's probably a piece of the pvc that feeds the chips into the bag. Hope you didn't toss it-they may want you to send it to them to investigate.

or you could do the American thing and SUE THEIR ASS! but then i'd call you a litigious bastard, I'm for letting them know about the problem, with out a lawsuit.

If you sued, it would go nowhere. The best thing you'll get is a nice fresh new bag of the same chips.

Oh...I dunno.
I think something like this could easily be worth half a dozen bags. (taxes not included):D

I had a hard black piece of plastic in my oreo snack stix..I used to LOVE those things! A rep came right to my house to pick it up & they gave me free coupons..I replaced the product, but couldn't ever eat it again.
