2 Little known facts about myself.
 

I have an odd ability to sing really, really fast. Think Busta Rhymes meets John Popper of Blues Traveler.

I can bend my thumb all the way back to my wrist. Not really useful, but it freaks out my girlfriend.

I have an uncanny ability to learn from other people's mistakes.

I was born almost 3 months early. If I would have been born before 1970 or so, I would have died.

I love cheesy romance novels.

I am very good/creative with make-up--though I rarely wear it myself.

I was born in a hospital with a tin roof in Swaziland.

In said hospital, I had my first shot of brandy at a day old before I was circumsized.

My birthday is the same day that the slaves were freed in Texas (Juneteenth)

Despite being an ass at times, deep down I'm a hopeless romantic when it comes to the girls I love.

I am pregnant.:)

I like putting puzzles together and just bought a new one at Barnes and Noble today.

Congrats! I did not know that.

I have a minor cleft palette (internal) that required surgery when I was 9 years old to make me understandable when I spoke.

I didn't 'meet' my father until i was three years old, after me, my mom, and my sister were in a serious car accident.

I was born five months premature based upon the wedding license.

My sisters' kids still think they have a "fun" auntie, rather than an eccentric one.

I've lost 20 pounds and gained muscle in my Body for Life 12 week program! (once I get some pix, I'll post them)

I have a great idea to make money, and my boss has bought into it, we'll be marketing this idea in about 4 weeks! Hopefully earning a fat paycheck from it! (more details to follow).

I was born full term, but only weighed 4 lbs, 4 oz.

I was born without tonsils.

- I tend to be insecure at times, but I put on an act so it appears that I'm strong and confidant.. that way I can protect myself.

- I have a large obsession with lotion.

I am the King of procrastonation.

I've never eaten an entire banana. I don't think i've even had more than a single bite.

I couldn't ride a horse for 9 years because i would giggle too much to stay on the saddle when we began to trot.

I was also 4 and 4... apparently if I was full term I was going to rip my mom open. Something like 11 lbs was my projected full term size.

I used to own a business selling Afghani jewelry (and I collected it, previously).

I was not allowed to listen to the radio (or dance) until I moved out of my parent's house at 17. Even then they didn't want me to, but I *rebelled* on my own housing dollah.

I was the smallest of my siblings at birth but am the largest by a significant margin now that we are all full grown.

I have what appears to be alopecia areata -- localized hair loss. My eyebrows and the hair on my legs will go through cycles of loss and regrowth, but never the hair on my head or other parts of my body.

I've dug my feet in the sand in every continent expect Antarctica.

I watched Mt St Helens blow up from my backyard when I was a kid.

Pictures posted of me here have always put me beside people shorter than I am, but in reality I'm only 5'11". I would've been much bigger if I hadn't been on steroids.

I also have terrible joints. My left knee has arthritis that can actually cause me to limp if the weather's really bad and I don't brace it. My knuckles are terrible too and I think my right knee is going the same the same way. Despite that, I want to do a job that's physical in nature; I'm not satisfied unless I've worked hard for my pay.

I played the cowardly lion in my high-school Wizard of Oz.

The first concert I ever saw was Raffi.

I am nearsighted and have an astigmatism; so when I take off my glasses at night, all the streetlights and stoplights -- and even the stars -- turn into little snowflakes. Cool.

My favorite pizza is garlic, jalapeno, olive, and tomato.

I have a surgicaly corrected bilateral cleft lip.

I cannot listen to "Puff the Magic Dragon" without breaking into tears.

I have two ideas for business and only need to find the money to invest to get them started.

In August I will be travelling to Spain/Portugal where I plan to get engaged to the woman I love. (I've already bought the ring)

I shoplifted candy as a child.

I use to draw pictures of naked women and sell them for 75 cents in grade 4.

I have held 15 jobs and only quit 3.
My hair is mood-reflective; darker when I'm happy, lighter when I'm stressed (at the lowest point in my life, I had blond streaks). And no, it's not artificial choices, just a weird happenstance.

I don't have, have never had, and will never have, wisdom teeth.

I hate change, so I forced myself to move across the country. I don't regret the move, I just wish it wasn't so far sometimes. I still hate change, but I'm learning to not hate it so much.

I was born in Rota, Spain and evidently have dual citizenship (according to my parents I'm a citizen of both countries... I honestly don't know).

Mustard makes me vomit... The smell alone makes me feel sick to my stomach.

I am 6'6" - making me 4 inches taller than my father, 7 inches taller than my sister and 8 inches taller than my mother.

I am violently afraid of the dark.

I've had 4 sets of wisdom teeth (3 1/2 of them have been extracted)

Despite having an irrational fear of flying, I have flown ~400,000 miles in the last 10 years.

I was kidnapped when I was 5 by my aunt and uncle and taken to Mexico for a few weeks

My dad was arrested for robbing a jewelry store while he was on duty. (LAPD)

I hit an eight foot tall bull (~1,000lbs) moose with my little Subaru. I received no injuries and my car was completely repaired in four weeks. Lucky, eh?
