Also, I didn't have the time to address it when I orginally set this topic, but I think for now, if anyone wants to participate here in the future, please restrict yourself to only PG-13 images for the time being.
(meaning: implied nudity is somewhat okay, but don't go beyond that. I'd prefer not to have another NSFW tag slapped on prematurely.)
I'm sure this thread will progress to that next level in short order, but the natural thinker in me says I'd at least like to see this bloom creatively and humorously at first, and then the bloomers can come off.

- If a priest is called a white collar worker, then a nun would be a creature of habit.

- A nun was kicked out of the order for inappropriate attire: her sheer habit.

- Several elderly nuns were in their second floor convent one night when a fire broke out.

They took their habits off, tied them together to make a rope, and climbed out the window.

After they were safely on the ground and out of the building, a news reporter came over to one of the nuns and said to her, "Weren't you afraid that the habits could have ripped or broken since they are old?

Sisters Liloise and Pelagia, instructors at Immaculate Heart Elementary School.

I really don't know anything else about the image. I've had it for many years.
I love the image and have gone back to look at it many times and have come to the conclusion that perhaps they are not really nuns. I determined this by the earrings on the woman to her left.

I don't readily understand the above's funny; is there an explanation or context I'm missing?

I've come to realize something very coincidentally-astounding over the past week, and that is, from most of random sources, even when they don't actually state where they got their images from, more and more of them I end up eventually finding at this vast repository.

So, like the quoted image, I eventually discovered it in time to have a caption, date, and photographer to add to it in order give some context to the photograph.

I also remember reading this one in that Playboy Cocktail Jokes section, although the joke mentioned a monk enrolling into the "Monastery" (whereas sisters and nuns would traditionally go to convent instead).

I was watching "Top Gear" on the Discovery Channel, and they had this nun put a helmet on and drive a monster truck over a line of cars.
Plus, it's all done with a British accent, which is way cool. Kinda funny stuff.

I remember one occasion when in a hostel in Florence, a roommate told me a story that had happened to him. He had gone to the Vatican, and during his visit he encounters a passing nun. She asks him for a bit of money, but he tells her has none. Then the nun pulls out a knife and literally assaults him. The guy in question told me that he only had € 5 in his wallet and was all that he could give her. "But I have no regrets," he said, "history is worth more than five euros."

Sister Luc Gabriel (Jeanine Deckers) was best known as the Singing Nun. This nun was so badass that her song Dominque became such a hit that it knocked Elvis Presley off the charts! Overnight, the Dominican nun was an international celebrity with the stage name of Soeur Sourire (Sister Smile). She gave concerts and appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show in 1964. Her fame went to her head and she eventually left the convent to spend more time on her musical career.

The first time I saw a nun, I was 6 years old.
Groggy from the anesthesia after surgery,I began to scream.

"Mom! There's a witch in my room!" (Catholic hospital. Nun nurse.)

My poor mother was quite embarrassed. The nurse/nun quietly left the room,
and let my mom try to explain what a nun was. My young, ignorant, medicated brain
couldn't grasp much at that time.

Decca Records, the division of Universal Records that is responsible for Lady Gaga, Eminem and Amy Winehouse, has just signed their newest group—a secluded order of Benedictine nuns.

The record company, who has been looking to replicate their success when they signed a group of Austrian monks in 2008, selected the nuns from more than 70 groups vying for the deal from around the world. The nuns, who live in a convent near Avignon, France,are reportedly skilled in Gregorian Chant.

Since the nuns are secluded, the recording of all tracks will take place inside the convent, as well as the shooting of the album cover. The Reverend Mother Abbess has said of the signing: “At first we were worried it would affect out cloistered life, so we asked St Joseph in prayer. Our prayers were answered, and we thought that this album would be a good thing if it touches people's lives and helps them find peace.”

Sexy Ads Upset the Pope - Racy Equinox Fitness Ad (VIDEO) [article]

The latest (as in two years ago) in buzzworthy ads is the new Equinox Fitness ad campaign, “Happily Ever.” One image features a group of nuns (one revealing a sexy garter!) sketching a still life portrait of a very chiseled, naked model who looks much like Michelangelo’s David. Judging by their facial expressions, they’re quite amused by the features of their manly muse.
