These are the kinds of stories that just take the wind outta my sails. It's hard enough communicating with people without having this weird "people see what they want to see" thing going on as well. This mother is absolutely ridiculous. Unless you find leaving your 13 year old Polish daughter in Egypt alone (let alone long enough to get impregnated) normal.

I try to look at these situations from a statistical standpoint, I'm not going to say it's impossible the the odds against are so mind bogglingly large that I'm not sure of the sorts of numbers that exist in that territory, perhaps they haven't been named yet.
Of course, it's much more likely the girl is being completely honest with her mother about not meeting any fellows there. What 13 year old girl would lie about hooking up with some guy when her mother wasn't around, especially when mom is so cool and level-headed about these things. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

It is entirely possible to get pregnant *in* a pool, though she undoubtedly had a little help from a friend.

Interesting complaint.
That mother must be incredibly difficult to live with.

This reminds me of the first short story in Haunted by Chuck Palahniuk...
*************************************** I've only seen this level of denial in my own grandmother before... You know, the lady who walked in on my girlfriend and I having sex when I was 17 and said, "Why are you silly kids always wrestling around?"
