Best. Commercials. Ever.
|
this is my best commercial that I have seen in a while:
the way he moves to the beat cracks me up. its like a "hip hop" beat and he seems out of place. |
"Her online profile says she's 5'11'' - yeah pounds maybe..."
|
This is the best advert - but be warned it is NSFW:

I got a chuckle out of this. I caught by fluke as I was walking by the TV.

"Bad Day" (at the office - commercial for Toronto's Mix 99.9) (oh, and in case it's not readily recognized, I think I'll make this my "commercial commons", and feature a few of the advertisements, both in print and those 30-second spots we see, right here.) |

It's in Dutch but still funny

a few commercial spots for MARS, Inc. Candies
Snickers (spot #9 is my personal favorite) Skittles Starburst |
a few (new) commercial spots for Jimmy Dean Breakfast Delights
(I really enjoy them, not the product, which I have yet to sample, but the advertisements themselves. And in case you wanted to know, the actor that plays the lead, "Sun", is 'Haynes Brooke'.) |

A very nice campaign by the agency DDB Brazil for the customer Fedex Express on clichés of the photographer Manolo Moran. Emphasis was placed on the speed with which the mark at issue around the globe. More visual in the following section. [fubiz.] |
and What can I say? It's playoffs. |
I hate to perpetuate the stereotype of hockey and beer, ahh hell, no i don't hate it. But anyways, beer commercials are so damn funny sometimes:

Yves posted on Friday on the FontFeed about a couple of campaigns by Inlingua promoting their business English courses. One of them is this brilliantly animated advert, creating a battlefield scenario out of words set all in Helvetica caps. As Yves says: The video looks and feels like a first-person shooter war game, with excellent POV camera work and sound design. The camera runs and ducks through the environment, hiding behind walls and in trenches, while being assailed from all Yves Peters, The FontFeed.(or watch the business advert in the 'Motionographer' link below) [ministryoftype.] + [motionographer.] |
ok, one more...
|
This one's hella fuckin' funny!
|
That's really messed up, Honesty. Though the condom one earlier was quite possibly the most effective one I've seen in a while.
Jetee, the business English commercial was artistic and fun. |

Haha looks like you can't go wrong when you just hype up your product to the max. |
Sadly, not a real commercial.

I just randomly came to encounter this ad, as I was searching for something else altogether:
[dtheatre.] (^^ I found this random blog entry about it afterwards, to give it some context.) |
Since GG opened up the precedence:
http://26.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_l2...67zfo1_500.jpg Only caveat is: this is an actual advertisement by Burger King (or at least a segment of the chain in endorsement to it). It's meant to be an "interesting approach to reach out to a large segment of their audience.", otherwise known as directed (targeted) advertising. Alternate tagline: "If you can't sleep, pleasure yourself. commission details: Advertising Agency: Bleublancrouge, Montreal, Canada Creative Director: Gaetan Namouric Art Director: Sebastien Deland Copywriter: Jonathan Rosman Published: November 2007 [adsoftheworld.] + [digg.] |

"Ottawa, we have a problem." Priceless!

in the interest of providing a little more variety, here's one about, ... ah crap. It's beer again:

|
I like this one.
Although... it's not the same on a small screen. It doesn't have same surprise value as when I first saw it in the cinema. Urrr. I think I might have posted it once before.... |
