It's with some relief knowing that there is something of an "antidote" to the venom that gets spewed over the airwaves.

Wow. Ben Affleck really had Olbermann pegged, on SNL.

Sorry, guys, but though I think gays should have the right to legal marriages, I think Keith Olbermann is a drama queen, and I have trouble taking anything he says seriously.

Did you notice the sustained low tone underscoring the second video? Good grief.

Those kinds of cheap theatrics are the main reason I avoid the pundit all-stars now matter which side of the argument they are on.

Perhaps instead of a desk, his studio set should be the bow of a ship with wind and rain lashing across his face. He could also hold a sword aloft and shake it during the really strong bits.

I'd start watching TV again!

sounds like a poorly-grounded microphone to me. A technical problem. Stretching it a bit, I think, to suggest he did it on purpose.

Fair enough. You're probably right.

It is a common trick used on tabloid newsmagazine shows like 20/20, Dateline and Hardcopy to paint the characters in their stories. Perhaps someday we'll see it creep into more straight news and op-ed media.

Here is where I wish I could post a clip of "Rock Bottom" from that Simpsons episode where Homer is accused of sexually harassing the babysitter.

Setting aside any theatrics or drama...the man makes some powerful points. Proposition 8's passage was a sad milestone.

And yes, O'Reilly is a buffoon.
