This is a big reminder of why my job can be so difficult.

Taking what an author has put together (especially in non-fiction) and getting it into shape for publication is a challenge when you consider how authors use the Internet for research. Take the overabundance of information and couple it with our ever-expanding language, and you get why people like me have jobs.

I really like seeing stuff like that. I have no way of knowing how accurate each point is, but I tend to believe it.

Looks like Shift Happens with much better graphics and 2-3 slides with updated information.

If you define 'honors student' as the top 25% of the population, then the statistic is correct (they defined it in the presentation as such).

As soon as the Chinese can get up to speed on finding the talented in their
population there could be a innovation explosion that puts the last 150 years
to shame.
And by the way, if the Chinese Gov't wants to tap into that talent, they will.
