So I'm not sure if any of you like/have heard of Boards of Canada. They're an electro/ambient group from Scotland that were inspired by old PSA's on Canadian Television. Anyways, over the years they've come under scrutiny for being Satanists or something similar to that. All of this is untrue, they simply express how they're feeling through their music, which I'll admit, is an acquired taste. Anyways, thats a VERY quick and basic intro to them as their music has many many many layers.

Every once in a while, they like to poke fun and fuel to fire, because as they know, and press is good press. Check out this intro to their site. If you know of them, you'll understand it. If you don't, then you won't and probably won't appreciate it. Either way, here it is.

Explanation?

There really is no explanation from what I've noticed as of yet. However their work always has many, many different levels to it. This video does represent the feel that a lot of their work evokes in people though. Here are a few of their works to help illustrate my point.

It reminds me of the video art of the mid 80's .

Yeah, pop culture of the late 70's are early 80's were their main influence in all of their music.
