I've seen this video several times. There are tons of parodies on the web now, my favorite being the Chocolate Rain 8 Bit Remix. I guess it comes from being a video game geek/junky.

How old is this kid? It appears he sings from the back of his throat to deepen his voice, but it's great control to be able to hit notes on key that way. "Love" is a much better tune.
