Look how offended she gets

http://dailystash.net/media/21/Naughty_Knot/

I actually find it completely disgusting how the judge treats these women.
I can't believe that she got so offended.

What are the issues she has?

Willravel 07-19-2007 12:07 PM

NSFW. Jeez.

Fly 07-19-2007 12:10 PM

man.

she went off eh?

i can't believe it either............wow.

and i can't even fathom the issues.............she damn near lost it.

Redlemon 07-19-2007 12:15 PM

Nice product, though. I could see it selling well.

ShaniFaye 07-19-2007 12:18 PM

I'd buy it

swordsworn 07-19-2007 12:41 PM

I'd buy it for someone =)

MexicanOnABike 07-19-2007 01:15 PM

ha! i wouldn't buy it just because it's not something for me. but I could seriously see a ton of girls getting these. it's pretty hot. the judge is the fucking idiot here. it's like she has never seen another person naked ever!

Jetée 07-19-2007 01:25 PM

"Juveniles!"

"Silvia, get back here!"

Willravel 07-19-2007 01:36 PM

Did we just lose a few posts?

pig 07-19-2007 01:58 PM

i might be able to bring myself to wonder about this if i didn't strongly suspect the whole thing is/was/will be a setup regardless.

if it tracked to real life, i'd have to say that if you're going to hit against a social taboo, you need to know your audience. she could have probably gotten a lot more mileage using a mannequin and showing multiple models of the idea.

if she doesn't have the ip protected already, someone in saipan is already making these and selling them over the interwebs.

She is a prude who will welcome in the neo-Puritan movement when it hits the U.S. in full force.

OR

She is ashamed of having worked as a stripper to put herself through business school.

OR

She has self-esteem issues that can be traced back to her strict Christian upbringing.

OR

She has always lived in a pristine, upper-class, gated-community-like bubble.

OR

She recently found out that her husband:
  1. Frequents strip clubs to conduct his own "business"
  2. Makes use of call girls
  3. Is having an affair
  4. All of the above

OR

All of the above.

That is really presumptious.

Not to mention facetious. :p

Reese 07-19-2007 08:14 PM

George Foreman would have given that a "YES!" That's actually better than some of the stuff that passed on this season's American Inventor.

You make it seem as though this is a network show... I don't have a TV so I wouldn't know one way or the other.

Who was justified, the presenter or the judge... it is a matter of opinion.

Heh. "Gated-community-like" should have given it away...

Worst. Compound adjective. Ever.:shakehead:

bobby 07-20-2007 06:31 AM

issues,issues..........what happened to FUN?

xoxoxoo

Nimetic 07-20-2007 09:34 PM

Yes that's a very good point. It could have been demo'd on a manequin.

There's really nothing new here... in that it's clothing held on with a bow.

It's not a new knot. And I doubt our caveman ancestors held their furs on with staples... Chances are that the local adult store has something similar, and I'm fairly sure that the Japanese kinomo is based around a bow. Not only that, lotsa bikini tops have bows of some sort. (The for-show kind I guess, not the swimming in kind).

But yeah.. this has got to be a set-up. Unfortunately the judge lost her cool - and in doing so ruined her chance to make some rational points, or participate in the fun.

For myself, I don't find it offensive. However I'd not want it screened without warning. It's one thing to support the "right to free speech", whatever that means. We should also ensure that people have an ability to choose what they view or don't view - given their life choices and personal or community taboos.

So yeah... freedom, as long as it doesn't impinge on the freedom of others.

mixedmedia 07-20-2007 10:04 PM

According to my suspicions, the entire thing was a set-up including the reaction of the judge. It all looked like play-acting to me.

QuasiMojo 07-20-2007 10:13 PM

eh, yeah...The "inventor" knows that sex sells.
Is this the appropriate venue?

I think that she didn't realize that she would meet with such resistance.

krwlz 07-30-2007 04:14 PM

Actually, that's a great product sheerly for the fact that not everyone would want it. (Sorry, just took marketing) For a successful product, you need something that people will tell their friends about. Trust me, if I came home to that, I think I'd tell people, and the wife/gf that gets an awesome reaction from her husband probably will too.

Awesome idea. Too bad the judge doesn't have more imagination.

analog 07-31-2007 02:13 AM

Wow... what a stupid unprofessional bitch. That judge needs a slap in the face and a sharply-applied "shut the fuck up".

troit 07-31-2007 08:53 PM

I'd get one for my girl.

ItWasMe 08-01-2007 12:45 AM

Hey, my birthday is coming up...um...okay, so it's really not. But can someone please find a good picture of this and tell my husband that I want one for an early birthday present? :D

Xazy 08-01-2007 02:40 AM

I liked it, yeah what a prude!
