That is interesting, and also interesting is the response of the locals to these chairs being photographed--shame, anger, suspicion.

Cool collection. I have been looked upon with suspicion before, by people
questioning my motives while photographing. The spookiest was in an open field being used for storage area for a nearby construction site. There was nothing in this field that could be carried off by even three strong men, without a forklift. This was on a non working day, no fences, no signs, not even the usual permits posted. I was shooting some uninstalled fire hydrants, when a pickup comes sliding up, and stops scarily close to me. The driver is the general contractor and has an expression like he just caught me humping his grandmother in the nursing home. I explained what I was doing, appologized to make him feel better, and pointed out the lack of signage. He actually drove away while I was still there, but I left soon. I think he had been robbed before, and was going to take it out on me.

I work part time security, and construction sites in the midwest are getting hit hard over the last few years- and often they scout the site first, sometimes taking pictures- then bring in a flatbed and crew at night- it flat amazed me what they could make off with- generators, a whole houses worth of 2x4's and plywood, these are not small time operations anymore, but considderning the costs of materials these days..... they should have had some signage though, and there is no reason to be a prick.......
