decent entry level video camera

I am in the process of starting a website with video on it and I need some advice on the type of video camera to buy. I want the video to be good quality (not grainy at all) but I don't want to spend a fortune. Does anyone have any experience with this? Also, it needs to be able to easily connect to my computer to download the footage.

Thanks,
Ian

it would help if you set a price - entry level covers pretty much the entire range of consumer-grade cameras.
