I've got a feeling I know why this is and I'm probably opening myself up to a wrist-slapping here, but I've noticed that the number of threads I can see in any given forum is roughly forty times fewer than the number listed on the homepage as being in that forum.

I was wondering... erm.. ahem... is this because I haven't donated yet? I was just on my way to do it, honestly, but the link disappeared, and then I lost my Paypal account... I think my dog ate it. Sooo anyways, Is that the problem? Or have I just dobbed myself in for no good reason?

so .. are you saying that for example in General Discussion you aren't seeing all the threads that should be there? If so you can change that in your User CP > Edit Options > select show all threads

user CP > edit options > thread display options > default thread age cutoff > show all threads
