Or a place where people can sell extra tickets for a sporting event that they might have (like selling Sugar Bowl tickets to me).

Would it be possible to have a forum where we can post good deals on the net, or rebates, ect to share the hot deals we run across. Like, for instance, my dell 2001 FP monitor was on sale 25% off when i got it, and i found out via a forum style notification system...

Nice idea but there is still a liability involved for the site. The good deal someone posts regarding a car could be a death trap for the buyer. Yeah, there is always buyer beware and someone will suggest that a disclaimer be posted in the rules. Sadly, even a disclaimer is not a guarantee that someone won't sue. Even an attempted lawsuit could bankrupt this place. I don't want to see that happen.
