Mozilla Mail fuxd up - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

Ok, weird problem. I setup the email address, and upon first run, it asks me for the password (as it should) I click "save my password" and click ok. I get the mail. But if I hit get messages, or shut down/restart the program, I get "could not connect to **** server :connection was refused.

But if I delete the password manager entry, and re-connect, it works. Untill I restart/hit get again.

I have 5 accounts on annother computer, that work fine (including the one that I am tring to use on this computer)

Any sugestions?

What version of Mozilla Mail are you using? Have you tried either 1) removind and recreating the account. 2) Using the latest stable version (if you arent).

I had similar problems, back on 1.3, when it was a known bug when upgrading.

I tried both 1.5, and 1.6...........

Yes, I deleted everything (and I mean everything) mozilla related, and tried from scratch, ran ad-aware, ran spybot, ran AVG, and still it happens....
