Cellular bandwidth

In the US, what is the fastest transmission speed for data on cellular? Who provides it? Specifically this would be used for restoration of frame relay or mpls based data communications in the event the circuit is down.

thanks

Something on the 3G network probably. Alltel, Sprint, Verizon, and AT&T all have EVDO coverage throughout the nation, boasting speeds from 100 kb/sec all the way to 400+ kb/sec if you are in the right area.

In my town, I get around 85 kb/sec with Alltel's data plan.
