This is Icelandic New Year's Eve. I was thinking of trying to be there for my 40th Birthday. Now that's some fireworks!!!!

even though it's crazy insane, it's still very disorganized and without a focus.
I prefer the 1 at a time or the symmetry when theres more than one. but i bet this cost a ton of $$ to make!

Yeah, it's insane... I saw it live on New Year's Eve (becoming 2002)... I hope we get to see it this year as well. Never seen anything quite like it, not even the 4th of July in the US.

If you ever get the chance, go to the National Fireworks Convention. It's held in a different city each year. I covered it once many years ago. It's all the fireworks makers in the country getting together to show off what they can do, so you'll see fireworks you can't see anywhere else.

The fireworks started at dusk and wrapped up around 12:30AM. The finale was nearly an hour long, and the entire show was set to music. They did a different show every night for a week. It's unreal.


Does kinda spoil you for regular fireworks after that though.
