I finally had my son! His name is Aric James and he was born on Tuesday, July 18th at 3:53pm. 7lbs 5oz and 20" long, and he's my angel... I just had to share my wonderful news!! It's been a week and the time has already gone so fast!

I think I somehow got the lowest maintenance child on the planet. However, we found out the hard way that he's probably lactose intolerant

On a side note, is Aric pronounced like Auric, i.e. latin for gold, or more like Eric? Either way, it's a cool name.

I like the name - I worked with an Aric years ago -- salt of the earth guy -- couldn't have asked for a nicer person... Good strong name

I agree with you Bill...soy formula stinks, that's what we had our son on, but it's much better than the alternative!

This mom thing is definitely way different than anything I ever expected! Just when I think he's becoming a little predictable... boom.. he changes it. I think he's just exercising his authority and power haha. I love it though, and I would do it all over for him.. without the eight hour epidural.

Wow, that's great! I've never talked to you but those baby pics are great.. my favorite is the baby sleeping on the daddy, also sleeping. I do think someday I'll have kids. Thanks for posting about your experience.
