Cell Phones - Windows Mobile 5
I just bought a cingular 2125 that has Windows Mobile 5 on it.
Does anyone know if it's possible to make little music files from songs and then import those to your phone as a ring tone?

Most phones will do this if they accept SMS text messages. The first step is to convert your audio file to wav using a low sample rate like 22.050 kHz. Next, find a site that lets you upload media files and send SMS text messages (there might be one offered by cingular). Once you have your file uploaded text it to your phone. If your phone gets the message choose "save audio clip." From here you can usually rename the file and set it as a ringtone. Good luck and if you have any problems post them up here.
