Future mods?

First and foremost, i'm going to find a wrecked 01' or 03' Cobra (w/ IRS )

Then steal it's engine, it's suspension...it's radiator...all the needed parts...and maybe steal a mechanic too

It's gonna cost me hellalot...but i think in the end it will be worth it. I have over 1k saved up (long long way to go...)...

If i'm lucky i'll be able to find a wrecked one directly from a insurance company...but that's unlikely.

daaaaamn dude...not bad

And hey Tiger69z - just a recommendation...it will be cheaper to just sell your car and go BUY an 03 Cobra. Seriously.

I suppose I'll throw minein the mix

20, CT

97 Buick Century.

Current mods:
New CD player/radio that I saved from the trash when I worked at Radio Shed.
Some goofy-ass blue LED strips (that look like they were wired by a 10-year-old) and a couple of neon blue lights under the dash that pulse to the music.
"Custom" paint streaks on the bumper that were generously donated by someone who apparently has a white car and doesn't know how to park. Worst part is that I just had the thing repainted 4 months ago ...
215's on the rear instead of the stock 205's (OK, I admit it, I just took the almost new tires when we junked the old Town Car, I couldn't afford 4 new tires and didn't want almost brand new P400's to go to waste.)
Pilot driving lights with remote control. I got the rectangular ones and they fit perfectly under the bumper

Future plans:
Supercharged 3800 engine (replacing current 3100) form a Buick Riviera.
Manual transmission - whatever FWD GM tranny I can get that will work with the 3800s, possibly from Saturn Ion (Ion Redline if I can find one at a junkyard.
Rims, or at least get around to putting hubcaps on.

And my personal motto: "It's not broken, it's modified"

I have a 1991 Isuzu Trooper completely stock 4 cylinder with a 5 speed with 180,000 miles plus on the odometer.

1988 Chevy Cavalier 160,000+ miles completely stock

1975 Ford F-100 92,000 miles 302 v8 with a C4 automatic and a ford 9" rear end custom wooden bed because original had rusted into nothing.

1992 Jeep Wrangler my baby Had a 4.0 6cylinder and 904 automatic I swapped a Golens stroker motor into it, it is a 4.6 liter 6 cylinder took the horsepower from 195 to 300 and the torque went from 225 to 385lbsft. I removed the leafspring suspension and put a 7 inch lift using long travel arms and coil springs on it. The tranny was swapped out for a 727 with reverse valve body. I swapped the original transfer case out for an Atlas with a 4.3-1 low range .The axles were weak so I went with Dana 60 high pinion conversions front and rear with 4.56 gears. It currently rides on 35 inch BFG all terrain KM's (mud tires) when they wear out I plan on going up to 37 inchers. Some day I might take some time and fix the jeep up but until then I guess I will have to settle for how it is right now.

My wife has a 04' Nissan Maxima (sweet car) but I rarely get to drive it.

My everyday truck is a 03' Nissan Fontier Crew Cab 4x4. (great truck)

And my baby is a 95' Dodge Ram 4x4 regular cab. 3" lift, tires and wheels, K&N air filter, westin step bars. I plan to rebuid the motor and re-program the computer. I want to add performance exhaust headers a high-flow cat and exhaust. A few more inches would not hurt either.

Yes it is really sensative, but it's adjustable, I have mine turned way up so that pretty much anything set it off.

As for adjusting it, underneath the drivers side, up under the steering colum there's a small black box probably no bigger then a deck of card, it has a very small white knob on one side. Just adjust the knob till you find the right sensativity that you like.

And he wants to boost hes speed with 3500$ he dosent want to tell me what hes gonna put in... well what mazda gonna put in(supposedly the company will upgrade it). Is it a bigger turbo and a good blowoff + a bigger intercooler, and damn that intercooler is small).
Cuz he was pissed that my Integra had beaten him on the 0-100 but after he got pass me.
(umm that 0-100kmh... so 0-60mhz)

Yup, I've met only 1 other person in the state my age that drives a PT Cruiser. Since I'm just finishing up HS, I've got no money to blow on any mods, bleh.

But I must say, I praise the designers for making the back seats fold down!

I have had a 2004 Mazda RX-8 for 4 months now. No mods to date.

My previous car was a 1987 BMW 325 E. IT had bavarian autosport springs, bilstein touring shocks, ansa muffler, a chip, K&N filter and a Carsound catalyst. Went from a 4 to 6 speaker system + a subwoofer. Had a pioneer cd deck, 6 mb quartz speakers, a crossfire 450 watt amp and a lanzar sub.

Well, for reference, my '89 RS Camaro had a good exterior, nice clean interior, 5.0 (305) V8, ran pretty well, and cost me 2100 from a dealer. However, it doesn't have t-tops and my father and I had a hell of a time diagnosing a problem (bad fuel pump) and spent ~$800 diagnosing and fixing it.

I still would only go for a 2.8 at 1500, MAYBE 1800. No more. 3K is WAY too much.

This thread is depressing. My ride sucks compared to you guys. I'm 24 and I drive a '91 Chevy Corsica with 197,000 miles. It has the 3.1 V6, but the upholstery is coming apart, some of the trim panels are missing from when someone broke into my car and stole the stereo and speakers out of it. The paint is coming off, and it has some suspension problems I haven't got around to fixing. Paying for tools when I was a mechanic, and then college has prevented me from getting something nicer. But at least I don't have student loans or other debts to pay off, so as soon as I get a job I'll be able to get a new car.

I'm kinda new here, but this is what i have.

I'm 21 and live in Los Angeles, CA.

I have a 1994 toyota celica ST. This WAS a slow car.
Recently, (about 1 week ago ) i finished swaping in a JDM 3sgte motor from a st185. I also upgraded to a custom FMIC and HKS BOV. I will take a picture of the car soon, but first i need to finish one more thing on it. I was missing the support for the passenger axle, and I hope to have it running on the street by this weekend.

As for the body, i currently have a Veilside body kit on it, which i'm glad to say i'm going to get rid of real soon. I hate how it looks because it's kinda cheesy, and everyone who owns a 94-99 celica usually puts that kit on. So when i get rid of it, i'm going to do a 95 GT-4 JDM front end conversion.
