That is a cute little mouse up there, I think it's a field mouse. Reminds me very much of two cute little mice my daughter had as pets when she was younger and still living at home. One was a beautiful shiney silver gray, the other a bright reddish brown ...not your everday kind of mice.

I am 100% sure I would love a job in a flower shop. I can't afford to do it now, but I would love doing this when I "retire". A little flower shop near my house has a tad offbeat/unusual style with arrangements and every time I give one as a present, everyone always comments how beautiful and unusual it is. I think they must have used some of those Alstromeria ring posted since that looks so familiar, though I never heard that name; of course I love lilies of all sorts and even have some growing in my yard. I'll try to get in a few RAOK today even if it doesn't effect my stock portfolio ...though I can see it could.

my cactus looks like the small one. my other is not really a pin cactus. more like a plant with really thick leaves.

ring 04-16-2008 12:33 PM

does it look like this?....this is a jade plant...a succulent.

http://i253.photobucket.com/albums/h...atringy/16.jpg

MexicanOnABike 04-16-2008 12:39 PM

almost. it's very close but mine is not the type to look like a tree. it follows the ground when it grows.

and the leaves are even thicker. green on top. red on the bottom.

ring 04-16-2008 12:50 PM

That might be a type of sedum...post a pic of if you can.

is the red on the underside of each leaf...or are the bottom leaves red?

BadNick 04-16-2008 01:04 PM

"succulent" ...that word makes me want to eat those things.

MexicanOnABike 04-16-2008 01:05 PM

underneath each leaves. O will post a picture in a few min. i have to find my camera and cable. ha!

ring 04-16-2008 01:08 PM

ring 04-17-2008 05:48 AM

how do you get the umlauts to post?...interesting word..umlauts.

umlauts umlauts umlauts umlauts..

jewels 04-17-2008 05:49 AM

LÄRABAR

Feel better? I stole it from your post 'cause I don't know how to umlaut either.

BadNick 04-17-2008 05:51 AM

I cheated and just "cut & pasted"; but there are legit ways, so I'll just cut & paste what I found:

Umlaut accent marks are two small dots over a letter, and in the case of the lower case i those dots replace the single dot. Umlaut accent marks are found in words like naïve.

Here's How:
The umlaut accent marks are found on the upper and lower case vowels Ä ä Ë ë Ï ï Ö ö Ü ü Ÿ ÿ

On a Mac, hold down Opt while typing the letter to create characters with umlaut accent marks.

Under Windows hold down ALT while typing the appropriate number code on your numeric keypad to create characters with umlaut accent marks.
For Windows, the number codes for the upper case letters are:
Ä 0196
Ë 0203
Ï 0207
Ö 0214
Ü 0220
Ÿ 0159

For Windows, the number codes for the lower case letters are:
ä 0228
ë 0235
ï 0239
ö 0246
ü 0252
ÿ 0255

In HTML, to create umlaut accent marks type the & (ampersand symbol) then the letter (A, e, etc.), then the letters uml, then ; (semicolon) such as:
& euml; (no space) for ë
& Uuml; (no space) for Ü

Tips:
In HTML the characters with umlaut accent marks may appear smaller than surrounding text. You might want to enlarge the font for just those characters under some circumstances.

Under Windows, don't use the numbers at the top of keyboard. Use the numeric keypad and be sure Num Lock is turned ON.

Some programs may have special keystrokes for creating diacriticals, such as umlaut accent marks. See the application manual or help files if these keystrokes don't work for umlaut accent marks.

PS: umlaut'ing with two babes is hot, I never did that before

ring 04-17-2008 05:56 AM

That is a naughty word...go post it.
