Sounds right, since I only did it at 350 for 30 minutes. I did cut it in half and place it face down in water. After that was done I flipped it and added the brown sugar and cinnamon. Then cooked for about 15 minutes more. After it's done I put the crushed pistachios on it. It would have been perfect, if the squash wasn't so hard :/

a great way to c cook acorn squash is to cut it in half put about
2 Tb. butter 1-3 Tb. browns sugar(your taste) sprinkle of cinnamon tiny bit of nutmeg(optional) bake 45 min to an hour @ 400 loosly covereded in foil for first half hour or so |
