watch out on those bartons, most of them bitches are locked now. Of course, since you're looking at pc3200, you shouldn't have any trouble getting that 2500+ to about 2.2, especially with Artic Silver. Everything else looks good, although you'd probably get more bang with 2*512 instead of just one stick. Nice video card, hope you're hitting up the sale on newegg for that one, damn $219 for a 9800 Pro, that's some crazy shit.

Looks good. You'll be able to OC that beast to 400 MHz FSB easily, putting it at Athlon XP 3200+ performance. I wouldn't change anything. Keep in mind that the Tornado CPU fan is gonna be incredibly loud.

I am agreeing with Sailor, I bought the Tornado and returned it the next day, Id like to hear my mp3's over my fan. Those Bartons work real nice with PC 3200 memory. I just put mine in a week ago and I have it comfortably over clocked to 3200+, no problem at all. Enjoy that bad boy!

Can I regulate the tornado's speed from the motherboard or do I have to get a fan regulator ?
Also, I'm pretty unhappy about newegg's decision to stop selling/listing Radeon 9800 regulars and Panaflo 80mm fans.

You don't want a 9800 regular. The FX 5900 regular is much, much better than the 9800. I'd go ahead and hit up NewEgg before tomorrow, though - as bltzkrieg said, the Sapphire Radeon 9800 PROS are on sale for $219. This is a STEAL. They are usually $280+. If I had the money, I'd order MULTIPLE cards and resell them. I can't stess how good of a deal that is. 5900 regulars are around that price, and now NewEgg has a damned 9800 Pro for the same price.
