Ya, I magically listened to it on Monday, and I couldn't make it through the whole CD. Usually I like every song that Eminem appears on, but he didn't even do it for me this time.

Wasn't impressed at all...

EDIT: And whats up with the Intro? Is he saying he wants to kill all of his fans?

I just got Frances The Mute - Mars Volta and I'm absorbing it now. I really want Eisley - Room Noises...that'll probably be my next buy. That or Muse - Absolution.

^ I'm kinda thinking I wanna start fresh with Muse and get their first album first but Absolution is pretty much a flawless album. At least I didn't hear anything I didn't like. These days I like to buy CD's both my mother and I can enjoy together and Eisley - Room Noises is definitely one of them. When I listened to it at Borders I immediately thought "My mom would like this a lot." and then I forced her to listen to it lol. She did...she like me didn't hear one song she didn't like. It's because the girls sing so pretty and they write great really pretty songs. Good piano work too and we're both suckers for piano.

Asta!!

No, go for Absolution first and work your way backwards. Absolution is a much better album than "Showbiz" and a different album from "Origin of Symmetry" (I won't say better because "Origin" is awesome, just different). "Showbiz" doesn't have the overarching themes that "Absolution" does or the overarching sense that "Origin" does.

Once you hear them all you'll see what I mean. Though if you're looking to download tracks off of "Showbiz" I recommend starting with "Muscle Museum."

Hey K-Wise

I love Eisley, seeing as I own the album and both their EP's now... but anyway, I thought I would toot my own horn and drag up an old, old, thread on them.

Just so I can say, I heard it first.

Thats awesome man. A fan from the begining. I didn't find out about em till I saw the video for Marvelous things debut on...I think it was Advanced Warning or Subterranean not sure. Probably Subteranean but anyway I immediately loved it. I'm bumping that thread. There was another thread a while back around the time that Marvelous Things was released that also died out...I think I replied to that one because I was just about to post about them myself and linked to their website or some shit. It was a guy asking where he could hear them. I think I was the only one who replied to that one though .

Have you heard Midlake? I visited Eisley's Myspace.com page and they listed them as one of the bands they listen to. They're from Texas too and I got to catch them when they opened for Do Make Say Think in Austin on the 8th of October last year. I thought they were a really great band I loved their music. My bro n law and his friends who I went with didn't really care for them too much though because they're the kind of people who'll hear someone like Midlake and think "Yup heard that before ever heard of Granddaddy?" n shit like that. I don't care about that shit though I thought they were great..if ya don't already know em you should check em out.

RAtM - Live at the Grand Olympic Auditorium
A Perfect Circle - eMOTIVe
H I M - Razorblade Kisses (I'm regretting this one. I heard Ville on the new Apocalyptica single and thought I'd look into his music... So far, no good)
Mudvayne - The End of All Things to Come (even though they have a new one coming out soon, I still didn't have this one and still need LD 50)
Static-X - Wisconsin Death Trap (Not as good as Shadow Zone IMO, but good)

Simple Things is a great great great CD... I listened to it over and over and still go back to it. Oddly the last CD I bought was Zero 7: When It Falls

Its not quite as good as Simple Things (I could listen to Destiny for hours on repeat), but its not bad. I hear that they are working on a new album.
